Bloomfield Lodge - Beautifully Remote, has 16 luxury timber cabins, elegantly furnished and well-equipped with private bathrooms. Bloomfield Lodge is a wonderful way to experience the unique, unspoilt natural phenomena of the region: the vast beauty of the wilderness with its flora and fauna; the infinite colours and majesty of the Great Barrier Reef; or the excitement of fishing straight from the jetty. After a rewarding day of discovery, with the opportunity to take a guided river cruise or walk through the rainforest, you return to the creature comforts of the Lodge, its welcoming spa, a massage perhaps, and to follow, Bloomfield's gourmet food and wine.
Meals are served in a covered but open - sided dining area close to the swimming pool. Meals are to a high standard and are included in the package price. The resaurant is free seating with around 4-6 guests per table, although private dining is available in the romantic gazebos (subject to availability and additional cost). Mulligans Bar is adjacent to the dining area and operates on an honour system - help yourself and record your own drinks purchase. Picnic hampers can be organised for daytrips.
