The 17th-century centre of Prague, with its swirl of Baroque and Romanesque architecture, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In its centre is the Hotel Hoffmeister, inspired by the writer and artist Adolf Hoffmeister (1902-1973).

Situated at the foot of the old castle, it has a family-run atmosphere and an art gallery of caricatures and paintings by the founder’s father.
