The Pand Hotel is very much like the pictures shown on the website and or in the SLH brochure.
Once you arrive, you feel immediately “at home”. The hotel is an old building that has recently been renovated with much taste. Also being perfectly maintained, it’s a very pleasant place to stay.
We stayed there on a Sunday and did not have the chance to meet with the owners. It’s a pity as they seem to be interesting personalities! I like the fact that they had proposed in the hotel binder (in the room) a complete selection of things to do and to see in Bruges with their personal ratings and advices. Wherever you go in the hotel (even the sauna that I visited) and whatever you do or order, you feel that there is a consistent touch of elegance and attention to details. The staff was rather young, very polite, very helpful and smiling.
Our room’s name was “Toile de Jouy Pastoral” and the walls were covered with the famous “toile de jouy” pattern fabric and matching canopy. It felt very romantic!
The room was quite small but despite its size was still very cozy and elegant. This room deserves its name (“charming”). I wish I could have visited one of the hotel suites as they look (from the hotel brochure) amazing.
I almost wish I had come in winter as the lounge is so cozy and welcoming: Because the weather was so nice, we decided to rather use the terrace which is also decorated with the same talent. A hotel that I would definitely like to visit again and highly recommend!
