Die 3 wichtigsten Gründe für einen Aufenthalt im Hotel:

  1. This is a delightful, mountain town hotel, offering excellent quality in an understated manner. The relaxed environment is matched by the professional approach, and the clean, uncluttered modern property. As a classic looking chalet, it could so easily have been traditional Swiss mountain kitsch, and I suspect it was before the current owner took over!

  2. The views from the balconies and the terrace. These are the classic Alpine vistas of Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau – and the location of the hotel is great both for rail/cable car based excursions, and for walking.

  3. Most of the other hotels in Wengen appeared to be largely full of retired British people. We were the only Brits, and the oldest people, that we saw in the Caprice. It was very good not to be surrounded by our own kind!!

The hotel offers good quality fare with no flourishes – and that is what we got. This was an excellent hotel, and one to which I look forward to returning.
