The Spa at Ka’ana is an intimate escape from the stresses of the outside world. It is our mission to deliver spa experiences that are both unique and memorable, and very
much beyond expectations. The signature ingredients infused in all our spa treatments are carefully selected from our organic garden as well as the surrounding regions. The earth’s natural minerals and botanicals help the skin’s impurities, improve natural appearance, and restore well-being.

Caring Luxury
Since opening, Ka’ana has been a primary supporter in our local communities by helping to raise funds for many worthy local causes.
Adopt-A-School Program
This school is a mere ten minutes down the road from Ka'ana and has become a primary initiative for the entire staff as well as friends of the resort. Of the 360 students, age 4-13, that attend Succotz Primary School, a mere handful can afford to pay the US$18.00 yearly tuition. As a result, instead of turning the students away, the lack of resources has resulted in poor bathroom facilities, leaking roofs, a fledgling sporting program, and inadequate cafeteria facilities.
Additional Social Initiatives
Mary Open Doors – This is a local womens’ refuge based in San Ignacio – In 2008 we organized and held a gala dinner to raise funds for much needed repairs to the shelter.
Liberty Foundation – A childrens’ orphanage just outside Belize City. In 2008 we were blessed with a visit from the children and their counselors. We raise money for Liberty through our travel trade for trees program. Guests are invited to plant a tree while making a donation to the foundation.
Scholarship Programs
Tourism & Hospitality – We proudly gave a two year full scholarship to Flora Pereira who is now attending Galen University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Electrical Engineering – We’re pleased to announce Mr. Calvin Choco, currently an employee in the Maintenance Department, as our 2011-2013 Electrical Engineering Scholarship recipient. Having obtained his first certificate from the Institute for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ITVET) and having been approved by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to hold his wire-man’s license, Mr. Choco will obtain his first degree from Pen Foster’s Career School.
In other cases our staff have given their time free of charge to help cook, serve, clean and other acts of service to help those in need.
Contact us at Outreach@KaanaBelize.com to offer additional assistance or suggestions on how we may better our programs.
