Overview:
La Casa Que Canta is an amazing boutique property located on the relaxing Pacific coast of Zihuatenejo, Mexico. The location is gorgeous nestled in a cliff overlooking the bay only 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel and its grounds are superbly maintained with local décor and an always smiling and most helpful staff. Everyone from the key management executive who welcomed us to the elderly maid who also picks flowers and coordinates the hotels arrangements made us feel right at home.
The rooms are very nice and well maintained. They are tastefully decorated and all come with ocean view balconies and free stocked mini bars (beer, water, soda).
The Clarins Spa is intimate and my time there was an enjoyable experience. The infinite and saltwater pools are well maintained and offer spectacular views onto the bay. We loved the complimentary cold lime towels and small fresh juice shakes in the middle of the day.
The food is good and at times excellent. Emphasis is often placed on local and traditional items. The kitchen and food staff goes out of their way to deliver any and all special needs. All water and ice cubes are purified.
As an SLH member we were treated extra special with a complimentary bottle of white Bordeaux and an upgrade.
I was thoroughly impressed with La Casa Que Canta and strongly recommend this property without any hesitation. Gracias!
