Located in Wuzhen, one of the most beautiful water towns in China, Wuzhen Clubhouse consists of three separate ancient timber houses that sit alongside the river. These classical garden buildings were originally built in the Ming and Qing dynasties and have been immaculately restored to provide a stunning boutique hotel with elegant rooms and suites, fine dining restaurants, an holistic spa and a broad selection of courses and excursions.

Choose between one of the three houses in which to stay. Heal Town House places an emphasis on health and healing and is set next to an ancient pharmacy. All the houses at Wuzhen Clubhouse are beautifully decorated with traditional courtyards, intricate wood and stone carving, beamed ceilings, gabled roofs and four-poster beds with flowing cotton curtains.

The historic town of Wuzhen is renowned for its numerous bridges that cross the town’s intricate network of rivers and canals and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the cobblestone streets of this delightful town and if you get the chance, watch a traditional shadow puppet show. Return to Wuzhen Clubhouse for a Tai Chi class or a silk workshop before dining in one of the hotel’s three restaurants.
