The elephant sanctuary is not only an opportunity to get close to these wonderful creatures but is very much the heart of Anantara – it is very apparent within the hotel that they are at the heart of this very special place.

We travelled to Northern Thailand in March and stayed at the Anantara. The staff were just fantastic, so friendly and genuinely nice. The hotel is located in a remote area where they have an elephant camp. It is very peaceful, the food was excellent.
