At the Aleenta the rhythmic cadence of the ocean as you receive your Thai-perfect massage and facial is the only music you’ll need to relax and luxuriate in this white-cool temple of chic. The spa staff are top-notch professionals who serve your every knead and you will either become so relaxed that you fall asleep or you will keep yourself awake to enjoy the hedonistic pleasure of it all, but in either case you may find yourself extending your one-hour treatment into three or four, as did we..and then coming back the next day for more.

Small but perfectly formed, this private hideaway hotel rates very high on the romance-o-meter, which is why it appears to be so popular with couples enjoying their special occasions. With the iPod playing pre-selected chill-out tunes in each loft you will be torn between staying within the luxurious privacy of your own loft, visting the fabulous spa or going to the beachside bar for sunset cocktails. A very high-class decision indeed.

The beachfront at Aleenta has a private-club feeling to it and is perfectly located next to the bar and restaurant ensuring that you are fed and watered often throughout the day. Do your spa treatments early in the day so that you can make it back to the beach for the incredible Phuket sunset.

Imagine being next to the beach in a luxurious and warmly minimal white-washed Greek town, except surrounded by to exotica of the Thai lanuage, infinity pools everywhere, lush coconut and frangipani groves and a spa to die for. That is the Aleenta in a nutshell. An exotic, delicious getaway spot for adults. Our advice: book early, book often and don’t forget the suntan lotion and a few good books. You won’t want to leave this place.
