Dining
Many guests choose to stay at The Louise because of the international reputation of our on-site restaurant, Appellation. Guests wishing to dine at this intimate (and often fully booked) restaurant are advised to request a reservation at the time of making their accommodation booking. Guests arriving at The Louise without a prior restaurant booking are may not be able to be seated at their preferred time on nights when the restaurant is already at capacity.

Integral to a stay at The Louise is the enjoyment of memorable regional dining at acclaimed on-site restaurant Appellation. Recently named Top Restaurant in South Australia by 2011 Australian Good Food and Travel Guide, Appellation is a compelling reason to visit the Barossa. Building on Appellation’s reputation for exceptional pairing of food to wine and fresh from the kitchen garden, local growers and farmers, the kitchen’s signature Chef’s Tasting Menu is a daily collaboration between kitchen and Sommelier and is a masterful wine-centric tasting menu. Appellation’s à la carte menu encompasses ingredients which reflect the growing seasons. Guests also may choose from an extensive list of wines by the glass or half-glass or order a bottle from the restaurant’s multi-award winning list of more than 500 offerings from the Barossa, across Australia and notable examples of food-friendly wines from the world’s great international regions.
