Getting to Bloomfield Lodge Hotel is an adventure in itself with a privately chartered plane from Cairns, a four-wheel drive through the outback followed by a river boat cruise. Once arrived, you will find nature’s wonders are literally on the doorstep. Stay in elegant timber cabins overlooking the calm waters of Weary Bay and Daintree Rainforest. Lounging by the pool to the call of kookaburras is a relaxing way to spend lazy days of sunshine.
For the more adventurous, spend your time fishing or snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef. Take a river cruise alongside the jungle, and in the evening watch the sun set over the Coral Sea. Return to Bloomfield Lodge Hotel for a delicious three-course dinner in the alfresco dining room.

Bay. Bloomfield Lodge is
a wonderful way to experience the unique, unspoilt natural phenomena of the
region: the vast beauty of the wilderness with its flora and fauna; the
infinite colours and majesty of the Great Barrier Reef;
or the excitement of fishing straight from the jetty. After a rewarding day of
discovery, with the opportunity to take a guided river cruise or walk through
the rainforest, you return to the creature comforts of the Lodge, its welcoming
spa, a massage perhaps, and to follow, Bloomfield's
gourmet food and wine.
Dining
An array of delicious dishes from spicy Asian-style creations to North Queensland seafood, exotic game to BBQ’d steaks. Buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, juices, pastries & hot dishes prepared to order. Lunch is a set menu or a gourmet picnic if out on a trip. Set evening menu is a 3 course dinner or BBQ buffet. All meals are included in the room rate and are served at set times in the covered al fresco restaurant close to the pool. There is free seating in a social atmosphere. Private dining is available in the romantic gazebos. Mulligans Bar, the help yourself and keep a tab honour system reflects the informal ambience and is open all hours.

Meals are served in a covered but open - sided dining area close to the swimming pool. Meals are to a high standard and are included in the package price. The restaurant is 'free seating' with around 4-6 guests per table, although private dining is available in the romantic gazebos (subject to availability and additional cost). Mulligans' Bar is adjacent to the dining area and operates on an honour system - help yourself and record your own drinks purchase. Picnic hampers can be organised for day trips.
