There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the waterfront in Isabela, but one delicacy you have to try while here is the locally produced cheese, queso de hoja. This fresh, white cheese always comes wrapped in banana leaves
The surf is always up in Isabela, and enthusiasts from across the world descend upon the town for the great waves that come throughout the year. You’ll also find basketball and baseball teams here, if you prefer to be a spectator.
When you step out of your luxury hotel looking for the perfect golden sands to relax on, you really will be spoilt for choice. The sheltered Montones Beach is good for small children, while Blue Hole is excellent for snorkelling over vibrant coral reefs.
