Restaurant Piano Nobile is opened seven days a week with a unique à la carte menu for hotel guests and also for the public. The original aristocratic cuisine of the Thurn-Taxis family, who lived at Chateau Mcely until 1947, represents a valuable heritage. In the summer months, guests have taken a fancy to having picnics in our English park. Our gastronomy offers may be complemented by our traditional Afternoon Tea. In the evening, you will certainly not be able to resist the temptation of alchemical elixirs or excellent wine in our Alchymist Club.

Mcely Spa was created gradually over a period of six years within the sensitive reconstruction of the chateau and its adjacent English park. Its uniqueness consists of the interconnection of interior and exterior spaces such that the entire chateau complex actually becomes a spa. Spacious, creatively-designed, private, therapeutic suites named Honey, Silk and Pearls offer a relaxing and inspiring environment for an exceptional spa experience. You can enjoy your spa therapy in either the chateau, on the highest floor of the tower, or in the chateau’s park near the natural swimming lake. All three suites are adapted so that couples can have their therapies together. At the Spa Reception you will find a relaxation zone where you can calmly sip delicious herbal tea and a boutique where you can purchase items from the Mcely Spa collection. The English park also includes an outdoor Jacuzzi, a small sauna building, natural swimming lake, multifunctional sports ground and a specially-designed natural course for cardiovascular and muscular fitness.

In order to ensure your comfort, we recommend you arrive at the therapeutic suite at least 15 minutes before your therapy. This will allow you to fully experience the relaxing environment of the Mcely Spa whilst enjoying a cup of herbal tea.
We would like to inform you that all therapy reservations are binding and will be included in your bill, even if you do not take part in the massages. If you would like to cancel your massage, you can do so 12 hours before the procedure. In the instance of late arrival, we trust you will understand if a therapy must be cut short so as not to affect other guests.

Chateau Mcely was recognized by the prestigious 2008 World Travel Awards in the Green Hotel category as The World's Leading Green Hotel. Prior to this award, Chateau Mcely was designated the first Five-Star “Green” and Eco Chic Hotel in the Czech Republic, and only the second one in the entire EU.
The idea of working with “green principles,” i.e. those which give maximum consideration to the environment, has been supported from the very beginning by the current co-owner of the hotel, Dr. James Cusumano, who for a long time has been engaged in the issue of environmental protection and other worldwide problems (global warming, dependence on oil). His wife and business partner, Inez Cusumano adds, smiling, that she supports the “worldwide” effort of her husband “locally” by caring for all details, right up to a welcome cup of tea prepared exclusively from local herbs and served to all guests.
