The hotel is located near Aix within a short walking distance.
Buses and taxis are also available and easy to get to and from the center of town. Upon my arrival, the taxi pulled into a small quiet courtyard and the front entrance of the hotel was clearly marked. Once I was recognized, a porter quickly came to collect my things. The check-in process was very good and the young man who assisted me was helpful and showed me personally to my room.
My room was located in a small building next door to the main lobby but was quickly accessible. I was told that my room was already an upgrade from the reservation and if I wanted a larger room, that could also be arranged at an extra cost. My room was small but very nicely appointed. It opened onto a beautiful garden and terrace. I had asked for a quiet room and it was! The desk clerk showed me the safe and its instructions and then departed.
My stay was for two nights and I slept well on both. I ordered room service each morning for coffee and milk only and it was brought on time. Breakfasts were beautifully laid out in the dining room and there was a large selection of things to choose from, in addition to the menu.
All in all a restful and enjoyable stay.
