Top 3 reasons to stay at the hotel:

  1. Location - Villa Marie is situated close to, but not IN, St Tropez (which is kinder to one’s ears and pocketbook) and to many highlights of the Côte d’Azur – Cannes, Nice, Cassis, Bandol – which makes it more convenient to visit all of these areas while staying in one centrally-located hotel.

  2. Dining – The hotel’s main restaurant is charming and airy with a beautiful view of the hotel’s lush gardens and the Bay of Pampelonne.  The cuisine is excellent, featuring quality local produce and wine, and the service is attentive and professional.   Breakfast is offered in a lovely, quiet courtyard right off the main lounge areas and the spa.   

  3. Ambiance – Staying in Villa Marie is like staying in the private chateau of someone with impeccable taste!  The luxurious accommodations are harmonious with the location and the area, the hotel has a beautiful pool, spa and fitness center for guests to enjoy, and the common areas (both inside and outside) tempt guests to stroll and linger with their charm, tranquility and beauty.

I particularly enjoyed one whimsical touch: the “Villa Marie” spelled out on the lounge’s Scrabble board!  Guests can enjoy fine dining in the hotel’s lovely restaurant, then stroll through its lush gardens before relaxing on the terrace overlooking the Bay of Pampelonne.  Its location on the Côte d’Azur provides a central base for guests to explore many of the region’s sights, or guests can choose to relax on the premises and savor Villa Marie’s gorgeous gardens and facilities.  The staff members are all personable and professional, and the general manager oversees the hotel’s operations with warmth and graciousness.
