Hotel Belvedere

Akin to the idea of a Pandora’s Box full of adventure and mystique, the Martini Bar will be housed within a box-like structure which -once opened- will reveal a luxurious Martini Bar made up of very surprising materials, light fixtures and textures.

From within the Martini Bar, a sense of theatricality will ensue, where Belvedere mixologists in white magician gloves will concoct Martinis in a most performance type fashion. Inspired by a dance piece named "Vasos" conceived by Deborah Colker, the Brazilian dance choreographer, bartenders or performers will move around the central bar piece, the glowing Martini Bar and vase stations, in a choreographed fashion whilst preparing a signature cocktail.

Uniforms will be designed by the fashion designer Neil Barrett.

The king of cocktails, Dale DeGroff will also be contributing to the signature martini list.

The basic characteristics of the design are the transparency, the theatrical lighting and the roof with the bougainvilleas, that creates to a visitor the sense that he is working out outdoors. At the same time, the minimalistic tendency along with the color fitting offers the visitor a unique feeling during work out. The stretching area, the cardio vascular equipment area as well as the strength equipment area, meet the needs of any trainee that wants to be in shape.

The gym is equipped with the well known Cybex Eagle series and Uesaka dumbbells. There are 3 treadmills, 1 x-trainer and 1 bicycle. For the really athletic ones, a Leg curl, Leg extension, Chest press and Overhead press are available. The Gym Features a powerful air-conditioning and ventilation system and Bose Acoustimass sound system.

Compiled by Belvedere resident DJ Hans with a lot of love and passion, this timeless and playful, summery and mellow, original, charming music selection is housed in a beautifully sculpted, luxuriously varnished, rosewood case with an organic shape and contemporary cuts. A limited amount of CDs will be released and available strictly for the Belvedere hotel, bars and restaurants guests.

Lighting scenarios and one touch dimming switches are integrated to customize the light according to the guests' mood. All furniture is ergonomically designed to offer guests ultimate, understated luxury and functionality.

The rooms are engineered to include, powerful air-conditioning units and pleasant floor heating for the winter months. State-of-the-art audiovisual centers are installed throughout the accommodation spaces, easily controllable, and incorporating i-pod docking stations, flat screen TV's, DVD's and high fidelity surround systems. A work desk is available, fully outfitted for AC power access, including a plug and play docking for digital cameras and i-pods. In-room internet access and wireless connection is provided.

Some of the rooms have a beverage center with a built in freezer and ice machine, as well as island terraces that are perfect for outdoor lounging, sunbathing and dining.
