Top 3 reasons to stay at the hotel:
-
When visiting the island of Mykonos you need to be in or near the town. The Belvedere is right there. Just 10 yards from the hotel is the start of the labyrinth of path, passages and alleys that will take you to the restaurants that line the water’s edge. These passages were designed to fool and confuse the pirates that frequently raided this island and it is very easy to get lost. BUT don’t take a map as it is great fun trying to find your way back to the hotel.
-
The Nubo restaurant within the hotel is the only one within the Aegean Sea and is not to be missed.
-
The rooms are all decorated to a very high standard.
Overview:
As we stepped off the ferry we were immediately greeted by the hotel’s own taxi. Soon we were being welcomed at reception and shown to our room. Throughout our stay the service was excellent.
Although in the middle of a very old town the swimming pool was a very reasonable size with lots of double sun beds with white fluffy pillows. Very luxurious!
As well as the pool area, most rooms have fabulous views across the bay.
At breakfast, lunch and dinner the quality and choice of food was very good but do take advice from reception of where to eat out in the town.
