Top 3 reasons to stay at the hotel:

You are never far from water at the Kastelli with six pools scattered around this resort. Five are close to rooms with the large main pool down at the bar.

For such a dry arid island you will be pleased to see lush lawns, plenty of colourful bougainvilleas and trees to shade you from the sun.

A five minute walk from the hotel will take you to the volcanic black sand beach where the water is warm. Skirting the beach are numerous restaurants and tavernas. We were told to look for the one with the light green chairs. A very good tip!
Overview:
Located in a lively town, this hotel has spacious rooms located down sloping passages, through arches and in hidden corners with groups of rooms sharing small swimming pools. The gardens are quite a nice surprise and contrast dramatically against the huge bare rock of the island. The evening dinning was in a delightful location and the food excellent – a lovely way to finish the day.
