Things to do
Perfect your putting at a championship golf course, like the prestigious Adare Golf Club within Adare Manor. To experience the village’s beautiful surroundings, head out on a private horse trek. Or, for something a little more laid back, the River Maigue offers excellent fishing. You might even hook a trout or salmon.
Bring your walking boots and discover a bit of Ireland on foot. From Adare you can trace a route along the Cliffs of Moher. With the swirling Atlantic below and the Aran Islands in the distance, you’ll have a beautifully dramatic view.
For a small village there’s a great deal of heritage sites to discover. The ruins of Adare Castle are a sight to behold – book a private tour via the Heritage Centre to learn more about the restoration work.
