Alpe di Siusi is a picturesque and charming village nestled among Europe’s largest and highest high-altitude alpine landscape. In the summer, the plateau is filled with blossoming flowers and it’s the perfect spot for keen hikers – all set against the jagged backdrop of the Dolomites. While in the winter the area becomes a must-visit destination for keen skiers.

This magical plateau is steeped in myth and legend, surrounded by captivating alpine beauty.

Things to do

This natural plateau is high up in the Dolomites, the awe-inspiring range of jagged mountain peaks that appears on so many postcards. The mountains were once a coral reef, hence the unique shapes and rock formations that fascinate geologists and tourists alike.

Alpe di Siusi makes the ideal base for trying some of Italy’s best winter sports, and a must for lovers of cross-country skiing. There’s snowboarding, tobogganing and ice skating here too. The après-ski is equally superb, with heart-warming Italian fare to welcome you after a hard day on the slopes.

Skiing in the winter, walking, hiking and rock climbing in the summer. Stroll through lush meadows with blossoming flowers. Alpe di Siusi is your gateway to a vast adventure playground, and you’ll find lots of routes for walking and climbing right from your luxury hotel.

When walking on the Alpe di Siusi, remember that you’re thousands of feet above sea level. So prepare for any weather with rugged boots and warm clothing.
