  1. Park Hotel ai Cappuccini is a larger SLH hotel. It has a spacious feel about it and is very well laid out.

  2. To paraphrase one T Blair – architecture, architecture, architecture. While the outside offers old and new versions of Gubbio monastery style, the interior and terrace public areas are truly exciting. The bar, the restaurant and the lounge areas by reception offer highly impressive blends of mediaeval Italy and modern design, while the size of the pool and the plethora of conference rooms give this hotel dimensions beyond immediate expectation on arrival.

Indeed, this hotel, nestling in an ancient Umbrian town so isolated from the rushing world that the nearest railway station is nearly 20 kilometers distant, would more than hold its own opposite La Scala in Milan or on the Via Nationale in Rome. It is a sophisticated city hotel displaced to a charming provincial town, with which, to its great credit, it blends well rather than clashing.

We loved our stay at the hotel, we were upgraded to a superior room (TA special offer) . The room is spacious and well dotated. Breakfast is good great restaurant, good value for the half board deal. We loved the SPA treatments, very profesional.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during a 10 day trip in Liguria, Tuscany and Umbria this Easter. Gubbio is a lovely town that one should visit during a trip in Umbria. The hotel is 3 minutes by car from the historic centre on the top of a small hill.

The Park Hotel Ai Cappuccini is truly a five star hotel! The decoration and architecture are unique. The staff is wonderful. Food is healthy and nice.

This hotel is fabulous. It's in a converted monastery about ten minutes walk from the ancient centre of Gubbio. The staff were very helpful and kind. This is a genuinely luxurious and welcoming hotel - I would definitely stay here again!
