Little has altered since 1879 when Cristoforo Benigno Crespi fell in love with the East and built his home as a tribute. Hotel Ristorante Villa Crespi is truly palatial, smothered with decorative stonework with grand archways and frescoed ceilings. The rooms have romantic four-poster beds, period furniture and elegant soft furnishings.

Villa Crespi's rich interiors provide the setting for six luxurious bedrooms and eight suites with four poster canopy beds with silk hangings. All have period furniture and paintings, plasma satellite TV with Sky, airconditioning and minibar as well as marble bathrooms most of which have a jacuzzi tub. The sumptuous restaurant located in the original dining room and salon of the villa is richly decorated with oriental stucco motifs, golden arches and rich colours. It has recently been awarded its second Michelin star and chef Cannavacciuolo's innovative Mediterranean cuisine, with an emphasis on fine local produce, is accompanied by an extensive wine list of well over 1000 French, Italian and international labels. A small spa features a relaxing sauna and Turkish bath, 'Shiro', and a variety of massages to energise or relax in.

A breath of new, fresh life has been brought to the area, which is smart and rather sober, with fine contemporary design furnishings which blend in beautifully with the original exotic, middle eastern style of the Villa. Large sofas and comfortable armchairs, velvety, warm drapes and curtains, soft lighting and lamps and a shiny, mirror and steel bar counter endow atmosphere and further beauty on this most elegant of rooms. A large illuminated glass showcase creates a play of light and mirrors set of to perfection the fine selection of vintage distillates, Rums, Whiskies, Armagnacs and Acquavites. The experience and attentiveness of our Restaurant and Bar Manager, Paolo Ciramitaro, our Sommelier, Matteo Pastrello, and indeed the entire staff in the dining rooms will accompany our guests throughout their dining experience with us, pampering them and satisfying their needs from their refreshing aperitif to an after dinner cocktail or liqueur.
