Overview:
On arrival, the hotel allows guests time to explore and appreciate the Cryptoporticus, whilst the more mundane process of checking in is completed by the hotel. The hotel is, rightly, extremely proud its history and the staff are proud to be associated with such a unique hotel. Our room, with its private garden, offered us some rest from the city bustle, but it wasn’t long before we were ready to step out onto the streets of ancient Rome. Just a minutes’ walk from the hotel, ruins stand proudly before you culminating in the Colloseum just around the corner. The complimentary afternoon snack bar, run by the hotel, is a delightful buffet offering guests the opportunity to relax before enjoying Rome some more. The hotel really is ideally suited to those wanting to embrace ancient Rome and its delights.
