The hotel is situated in an historical area of St Petersburg known locally as the soul of the city, close to the Mariinsky Theatre and the Conservatory. It is only a 20 minute walk to Nevsky Prospect, and along the way you can pass the apartment where Raskolnikov lived.

By car
From outside the city: the hotel can be reached either through Theatre Square, and along Kryukov Canal Embankment, or along the Fontanka River Embankment, at the corner with Kryukov Canal.
By airplane
From St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport: Take Moskovsky Prospect till Sennaya Ploshad, then left, and along Ulitsa Sadovaya, and left at the Kryukov Canal Embankment.
By metro
From Sennaya Ploshad and Sadovaya Metro Stations: there are various ways to reach these stations on foot and it takes around 20 minutes. If you do not want to walk, then you can pick up a bus at the corner of Sennaya Ploshad and Ulitsa Sadovaya, which will take you to the hotel.
Landmarks
- Nikolsky cathedral
The great example of the late Russian baroque, the gilt-domed Nikolsky Cathedral, is situated on the bank of the Kryukov Canal. As Nikolsky Cathedral was a naval church, solemn divine services held there marked the important evens in the life of the Russian Navy.
- Mariinky Theatre
The history of the Mariinsky Ballet Company dates from 1783. Nowdays it is the main theatre of opera and ballet in Saint-Petersburg.
- Saint Isaak's Cathedral
Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor in Saint Petersburg, Russia is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral (sobor) in the city and was the tallest Eastern Orthodox church upon its completion (subsequently surpassed only by the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour). It is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great who had been born on the feast day of that saint.
