We would like to advise you that until early March our two restaurants La Brasserie and Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor will be closed for the preparation for our exciting new state of the art kitchen. La Brasserie will reopen on Saturday 3rd March and Simon Radley reopening for dinner on Tuesday 6th March. During this time The Grosvenor Spa and The Arkle Bar and Lounge, will be serving morning coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and evening drinks. In room dining will also continue to be available, as will The Gallery on the first floor landing.
Home of the Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘Simon Radley at the Chester Grosvenor’ and one of the most extensive wine cellars in England, The Chester Grosvenor is a connoisseur’s haven in the heart of historic Chester. The Grade II listed building with its appealing black and white timbered façade also houses a truly indulgent spa with an ice fountain and salt grotto.
The period facade belies the modern elegance of the interior. All the rooms and suites at the Chester Grosvenor are individually decorated in contemporary colours and fabrics with traditionally styled furniture, some with four-poster beds.

The award-winning Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor has recently been refurbished and renamed after it's illustrious Executive Chef. The restaurant was previously named Arkle after the famous steeplechaser owned by the late Anne, Duchess of Westminster.
Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor is a gourmet restaurant and has retained its much coveted Michelin star since 1990. The exceptional menu changes seasonally, and the emphasis is on using the very best, fresh local produce in imaginative and innovative ways.
The restaurant's cellar is one of the most extensive in England with over 1000 bins from all over the world. With such a wide selection available, the resident Sommelier is on hand to assist with friendly advice and recommendations.

La Brasserie
Refurbished in August 2004, La Brasserie has comfortable, black leather sofas and chairs, and the sleek granite tabletops help to create a relaxed, Parisian-style ambience. One of the restaurant's hallmarks is a hand-painted glass skylight, which adds to the feeling of French sophistication.
La Brasserie is the perfect place for a cocktail, a quick coffee or a leisurely meal.

The Arkle Bar and Lounge
The arkle bar and Lounge is situated on the ground floor adjacent to 'Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor' and is a comfortable lounge area of understated elegance.
Open all day, serving morning coffee, light lunches and traditional afternoon tea, it is also the perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail and is stocked with interesting malts, vintage ports and a wide range of liqueurs.
