Directions
From M4
Come off the M4 at junction 15 signposted for Marlborough and Swindon. Follow the directions towards Swindon A419 and Oxford. At the next roundabout go straight over following signs for Cirencester and A419. Continue on the dual carriageway as it becomes the A417 and exit at the junction next to the Highwayman Pub, signposted for Elkstone and Winstone. Turn right at the t-junction and right again travelling under the road and towards Elkstone. Follow this road passing the Green Dragon pub and up to the main road. At this junction turn left towards Cheltenham. The turning for Cowley is about 600 meters further on the left. As you travel into the village Cowley Manor is on the left. From M5
Come off the M5 at junction 11a, signposted for A417 Cirencester and Gloucester. As you come off the slip road you have to merge onto the middle lane of a dual carriageway. (If you are travelling from the south you will need to take the first exit from the roundabout at the end of the slip road) Proceed up the hill, following signs for Oxford A40 and Cirencester A417. At the roundabout take the first exit (straight over) towards Stow A436 and Oxford A40, and continue until you reach a roundabout. Turn right towards Cirencester onto the A435. Follow this road for 1½ miles where Cowley is signposted to the right. Be careful not to turn right into the bus stop, it is very close to the turning! Travel down the road into the village and Cowley manor is on the left.
From Cheltenham
Follow the A40 towards Oxford going out of Cheltenham. After approximately 1 mile move into the right hand lane and take the right fork following the signs to Cirencester A435. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles passing the Lilley Brook Golf Club. At the double roundabouts go straight over towards Cirencester on the A435. Cowley is the second village on your right. Be careful not to turn right into the bus stop, it is very close to the turning! Travel down the road into the village and Cowley manor is on the left.
From A40 Oxford
Follow signs out of Oxford for Cheltenham and A40. Following the A40 you will reach Burford, go straight over the roundabout, staying on the A40. After the next roundabout you will reach a stretch of dual carriageway, at the end of this turn left at The Frogmill pub onto the A436 to Gloucester. Follow the road to the t-junction. Turn left on to the A435 towards Cirencester. Follow this road for 1½ miles where Cowley is signposted to the right. Be careful not to turn into the bus stop, it is very close to the turning! Travel up the road into the village and Cowley Manor is on the left.
