Rockliffe Hall
A tranquil golf and spa resort on the banks of the River Tees
Rockliffe Hall is a magnificent 18th-century country house that has been lovingly restored and extended to create an outstanding resort close to the North Yorkshire Moors. Complete with the largest golf course in the UK, a sophisticated spa, three superb restaurants and service more reminiscent of a private club than a hotel, this is the perfect retreat.
There is more than a touch of glamour at Rockliffe Hall with elaborate crystal chandeliers, chenille and velvet fabrics in rich browns and reds as well as televisions in the bathrooms. Several of the rooms and suites have glorious views of the golf course.
Following a challenging round of golf or a walk along the estate’s numerous trails, spend some well earned down time in the spa. Indulge in a soothing therapy, then relax in the caldarium or the sauna and cool off with ice flakes from the igloo. Dine in Rockliffe Hall’s The Orangery restaurant, under the direction of Michelin-star chef, Kenny Atkinson for a perfect end to the day.

The Brasserie by Atkinson
ckliffe Hall is delighted to introduce its exciting new restaurant The Brasserie by Atkinson.
Situated above the Spa, the new eating and dining venue has replaced the previous Waterhouse Bistro and will act a partner restaurant to the fine dining Kenny Atkinson at the Orangery and the established Clubhouse restaurant and Spike Bar. The area has undergone dramatic transformation including the addition of new booths, banquette style seating and clothed tables in the evening creating a fresh modern and relaxed feel.
Overseen and created by Kenny himself, the menus reflect a more simple style of food than the Orangery but with the same strong focus on local fresh produce from carefully chosen suppliers.
The style of the menu will have a strong regional influence and features, for example, classic dishes such as Craster Fish Pie (as seen prepared by Kenny on BBC2's Great British Menu & Sky Food Perfect), Slow Roasted Pork Loin with Pease Pudding as seen on BBC's Saturday Kitchen and classics like Steaks, Fish & Chips.
