The rooms and suites are English country in style with comfy chairs and pretty curtains. The rooms in the original part of the house have four-poster beds, a seating area and views of the hills. More contemporary-styled rooms are in Devonshire Arms Hotel’s Wharfedale Wing, all of which have been created with warmth, comfort and plenty of imagination.
Stroll around Devonshire Arms Hotel’s Italian box gardens before an indulgent pampering session in the spa. In the afternoon, take a trek across the magnificent dales or visit the nearby ruins of the 12th-century Augustinian Priory or Fountain’s Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, close to Ripon. Return for a delectable meal in the award-winning Burlington Restaurant or in the Brasserie.

The hotel features 40 elegant rooms and suites, lounges with deep comfy sofas, open log fires and stunning flower arrangements. The Devonshire Arms Country Hotel House & Spa's two dining rooms, the Michelin-starred Burlington Restaurant and the colourful and informal Devonshire Brasserie and Bar, both offer superb dining options complemented by an outstanding collection of over 80 house wines and 2,000 bins of fine and rare wines. The Devonshire Arms Country Hotel House & Spa is housed in a converted 17th-century barn opposite the hotel.
