The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel

These rooms have recently be refurbished with individual decoration, designed by the Duchess of Devonshire, with excellent views of the beautiful Italian Gardens or the River and Hills. Ground and first floor bedrooms all with king sized double beds (5ft/150cms). Cots and extra beds are not suitable. A disable adapted room availavle on request with spacious wetroom, suitable for wheelchair users.

Deluxe Double (5ft/150cms) or King size/Twin (6ft/180cms) bedded rooms located in the Wharfedale wing and have been individually decorated by the Duchess of Devonshire. Limited number of rooms with river and hills view. There is one king double bed in the original part of the house. These rooms are unable to accommodate any additional beds.

Located in the 18th century part of the house, there is a range of four poster beds, 5ft king, 6ft superking or twin. These rooms are gently themed and named after the local area and family connections, with beautiful views of the Italian gardens or the front of the hotel. These rooms are suitable for one extra bed or cot.

Deluxe rooms in the original part of the house with large four poster beds and lounge areas or superking and twin rooms on the ground floor overlooking the Italian gardens. Bathrooms are large and some have double wash hand basins. Our Super king rooms have our feature bathrooms, one with a luxurious roll top bath, and one with a TV at the end of the bath to help you relax your time away. The Four poster rooms are suitable for up to 2 extra beds.

Each suite has a 6ft four-poster bed, a large bathroom with a separate walk-in shower and spa bath, sitting room with extra cloakroom, plus dressing room in Herbert Royle and complimentary drinks trays. Herbert Royle is named after the well-known artist and has a superb collection of his paintings. Lismore has a collection of photographs of Lismore Castle, the Irish home of The Duke of Devonshire. Both suites are on the ground floor, with excelent view of the surrounding countryside.
