Small, serene and secluded, Frégate Island is a verdant private island bordered by seven powdery white beaches. A truly eco-conscious retreat, there are just 17 thatched villas with private butler, a yacht club, marina, a PADI Dive Centre overlooking a glistening turquoise lagoon and a cliff-top spa with glorious sea views.
It is a major priority of Frégate Island to protect and look after the unique fauna and flora on the island. As such, the villas are built of native mahogany and clad in African teak wood which blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Each villa has its own private infinity pool and large terrace.
Have a massage in the Frégate Island spa overlooking the sea. Take diving lessons at the dive centre, or join a diving excursion to one of the celebrated sites. Enjoy a guided nature walk through the lush forests of Coco der Mer palms and giant Banyan trees where you may encounter an Aldabra giant tortoise or a Seychelles terrapin.

Frégate House - Frégate House offers a daily gourmet menu featuring the Chef’s selection of local produce at its peak. Dining in Frégate House is available on the lower terrace and also in the restaurant. The restaurant catches the evening sea breezes through open windows, however in very warm weather may be air-conditioned. Opening hours: Breakfast 06:30 to 10:30 / Lunch 12:00 to 15:00 / Dinner 19:30 to 22:30. Seating: 32 people.. Plantation House - Plantation House is a casual al fresco venue; with the food style typically Creole. This historical building evokes the memories of the early settlers and is a wonderful venue for open air dining. The Plantation House is closed seasonally due to bird nesting. Open for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30. Seating: 32 people.. Bars - The Pirate’s Bar (11:00 till the last guest leaves) and Anse Bambous Beach Bar (10:00 to 18:00) offer light snacks and drinks at lunch and dinner.. In addition to the two restaurants, guests can enjoy BBQ’s on the beach or at the yacht club, private candle lit dinners in the privacy of the villa or a setting of their choice. The island’s own plantation is the guarantee that guests can enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables every day.. Wine Cellar - Our cellar compete with the most famous hotel restaurants in the world and we are proud to present to our guests a variety of wines from all around the globe, including important labels, varieties and vineyards. The Rock Spa with its two couple and two single treatment rooms is a natural haven of serenity, nestled on a cliff-top plateau commanding panoramic views of the sea. Reached via a dramatic rock archway at the apex of a canyon of granite boulders and banyan roots, flanked by freshwater pools and cascading waterfalls, the spa celebrates the island's unique surroundings and embraces the traditional elements of earth, air, fire and water.
