The Grand National Lunch and Draw Back gain by great popular demand, Hartwell’s fifth annual Grand National Lunch and Draw! Join us for a reception, luncheon and then retire to watch the build up to and the Grand National live on TV. Take part in a prize draw before a final cup of tea and cake! The cost will be £65.00 per person to include a Pimms reception, 3 course lunch with wines, coffee, glass of celebratory champagne and VAT. Not one to be missed! Prizes for the first three places.
The Yapp Wine Luncheon Continuing the success of recent years, Tom Ashworth of Yapp Brothers (vintners of Mere, Wiltshire) will be hosting a Wine Luncheon at Hartwell House. Guests are invited to arrive at 12.30pm for a glass (or two!) of sparkling wine, to be followed by Chef’s delicious three course lunch with specially selected wine served with each course. The complete event costs just £65.00 per person and includes reception drink, lunch, all wines, and VAT. The Literary Lunch with Marcus Scriven Marcus Scriven is without doubt an excellent story teller who has an intriguing and fascinating tale to tell, recently serialized in the Daily Mail. Join us for a glass of Pimms, 3 course lunch with coffee and of course enjoy Marcus Scriven's talk. Cost is £45 per person
Pirates in the Caribbean BBQ and Quiz A light hearted fun evening in the Spa Café with a Caribbean theme; enjoy an informal BBQ with a Planter’s punch for £30.00 per person including VAT, followed by a Pirates and Caribbean general knowledge quiz for you to think about. Arrive at 6.30pm for a glass of Planter’s punch, then BBQ at 7.15pm followed by the quiz.

The Royal Horticultural Society Luncheons In conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society, visit Hartwell House and join head gardener Richard Jones who will not only explain recent plantings and restoration but also take you on a historical journey to rediscover the lost flower garden of Lady Elizabeth Lee.
Walks at Hartwell One of the lesser-known attractions is the fact that Hartwell sits on the route of the North Bucks Way, which was set up by the Ramblers Association in 1972 and is approximately 35 miles in length. Now we are not suggesting you try all of the walk but perhaps part of it from the hotel via Eythrope Park to Waddesdon Manor where you can spend then some time visiting this magnificent French style chateau. A leaflet incorporating the entire walk is available on request from the hotel reception.
