The Soane Dining Room, is based on a room in 11 Downing Street, designed by the nineteenth century architect, Sir John Soane. A second dining room occupies the site of Henry Keene s adjoining chapel, long dismantled, whilst the third, the Octagon Dining Room, has been given a tented ceiling, agin influenced by Soane. All three dining rooms provide elegant settings for the imaginative food prepared by the head chef, Daniel Richardson and his staff, three rosettes have been awarded by the AA.
There are fixed price menus for lunch of GBP 22 for two courses and GBP 29 for three courses Monday to Saturday, GBP 32 for Sunday Lunch in addition to our A la Carte menu serve daily excluding Sunday. We also serve Seasonal Lunch Monday to Saturday , which is a three course set lunch with canapes, priced at GBP 19.50 per person. For dinner we offer a delicious A la Carte menu, specialising in many local produce, a Seasonal set three course menu price GBP 38 per person including coffee and sweetmests and our Six Course Tasting menu at GBP 65 per person, including coffee and sweetmeats. The Buttery
The Buttery is an informal restaurant situated in the Hartwell spa, overlooking the swimming pool. Serving a wide range of food and drink from a cup of coffee and slice of cake to a glass of Champagne and traditional afternoon tea. Guests may just wish to use the Buttery as a quiet haven to relax and meet with friends for a cup of tea, or to enjoy a sumptuous lunch from the seasonal menu. During the summer months (depending on the English weather) the Buttery opens out to the terrace, where the usual Buttery treats can be enjoyed in the sunshine.

The Buttery opens at 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday and at 9.00am to 5.30pm on Sundays. Breakfast is served from 9.00am until 12.00noon, lunch is served from 12.00pm until 3.00pm and afternoon tea and snacks are served from 3.00pm until 6.00pm Monday to Saturday and 5.30pm on Sundays.
