Dorset Square Hotel

So distinctively English that if you close the curtains you could be in an elegant country house instead of the heart of London’s colourful West End. Dorset Square Hotel is a Regency townhouse set in a green, leafy square overlooking the gardens on the original site of Sir Thomas Lord’s first cricket pitch, with an innovative restaurant that combines great simplicity with a unique dining experience.

Rooms are decorated with rich floral fabrics in a grand country-house style with canopied beds, antiques, original paintings and picturesque views over the square from the first floor balconies.

The Osteria dell’Orologio, an Italian restaurant that has given the traditional osteria a more modern twist with vibrant colours and thought provoking sepia pictures. Offering a selection of real, contemporary Italian recipes which are full of robust flavours, and fresh ingredients cooked in the best possible way.

News for Dorset Square Hotel

  • 'Antinori Under One Roof' A great bight was had by all in Dorset Square Hotel's 'Osteria dell'Orologio' on 25th February for the 'Antinori Under One Roof' wine dinner.

Once again I can’t praise Dorset Square and its staff enough. Their hospitality truly made our stay.

I stay at this hotel at least once a week. Easy to walk to Oxford Street/West End, 3 stops on the tube. Comfortable beds, big pillows, informal lounge with bar. A great little hotel, professionally run and value for money.

Mr Brett, United Kingdom

Great location, near to Hyde Park (great for ice skating at the Winter Wonderland) and shopping at Knightsbridge. The restaurant- a hidden gem! Fantastic Italian cuisine with all the finishing touches and attentive staff.

Adelle and Chris, United Kingdom

The hotel has a lovely feel to it, it is a mile away from chain hotels with long corridors and identical rooms!
