The Inn at Great Neck is located in the center of a charming little town on Long Island, close to boutique shops, restaurants, and major highways which makes traveling by automobile to other nearby areas quite simple. There is available parking to facilitate use of a car, and the commuter train to Manhattan is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Each member of the hotel staff was friendly and pleasant, and the benefits I received as a SLH Club member greatly enhanced my experience. In particular, I received an upgrade to a lovely, luxurious junior suite with a bathroom fit for a princess! As there are not many leisure facilities available at this property, I believe that it is best suited for a business traveler that needs the flexibility of easy access to a car, prefers larger bedroom/bathroom accommodations and a higher standard of service than are usually available in the NYC metro area at the same price point.
