The Reluctant Panther Inn and Restaurant

A romantic getaway in the mountains of Southern Vermont

Set in the Vermont Mountains in the pretty town of Manchester, Reluctant Panther Inn & Restaurant is a picturesque property surrounded by delightful gardens and provides elegant rooms and suites, a highly rated dining room, a cosy bar and a host of activities throughout the year.

Most noticeable is the immense feeling of comfort and the attention to detail in all the rooms and suites at Reluctant Panther Inn. It is the special touches such as antique furniture, fireplaces, fine original artwork, freshly cut flowers and luxurious Anichini bedcovers that make the difference. Some of the rooms benefit from breathtaking mountain views.

Explore Manchester Village with its historic buildings and interesting boutiques or play golf nearby on one of New England’s finest golf courses. In summer, kayak, canoe or go fly-fishing on the local rivers and streams while in winter, downhill skiing and snowboarding at Stratton is the order of the day. Return for a gourmet meal at the Reluctant Panther Inn followed by a show at the Dorset Theatre.
