Les 3 meilleures raisons de séjourner dans cet hôtel:

Tea (or Cocktails) for Two. The Martini Library at The Arch is a light and welcoming space where you can indulge yourself in the English tradition of high tea. There are lots of comfy seats and a wide selection of art books for those in need of intellectual as well as bodily refreshment. The menu contains such British classics as toasted crumpets and gentleman's relish. The highlight is the selection of sweet and savoury éclairs including such exotic concoctions as coconut and kaffir lime leaf or foie gras and Sauternes. As one dictionary defines them these éclairs were long in shape but short in duration. To mark the General Election there were three additional éclairs on offer, each in the colour of one of the main political parties and iced with a picture of the party leader. For those requiring something a little stronger than tea there's also an Earl Frey MarTEAni served with a chocolate and Earl Grey éclair.

Staying at The Arch is like living in the smart London townhouse you've always fantasized about. From your bedroom window you overlook a cobbled mews. Located on a quiet street and with a handsome Georgian façade it's easy to see why your neighbours Tony and Cherie Blair chose to live just a few blocks away in Connaught Square. You are just a short walk away from the exclusive enclave of Marylebone High Street or the shops of Oxford and Bond Streets. For a complete contrast you can take a stroll in nearby Hyde Park. It was late spring when I stayed at the Arch and sauntering along paths lined with flowering horse chestnuts was a great way to unwind after the bustle of the city.

Watch TV in the Bath. My bathroom had both a wonderful rain shower and a bath. At one end of the tub was a TV screen and conveniently located at the other was the remote control. Even a waffle weave bath pillow is provided to ensure that you are completely comfortable. So, as you soak in suds from the Malin + Goetz products, you can catch up on the soaps!
Aperçu :
The Arch has an ideal location. It is within easy reach of Paddington and Marylebone stations giving easy access to Heathrow and the national rail network. It is also a short walk to the tiny boutiques of Marylebone High Street or the major shopping areas of Oxford and Bond Streets. The green spaces of Hyde Park are just a few minutes in the opposite direction. However, because the hotel is situated on a residential street it has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff, from the time the porter welcomed us as we stepped out of our cab to the moment he closed the door of the taxi the next day, were without exception efficient and enthusiastic. Sometimes they almost felt more like personal assistants than hotel employees. This sense is perhaps enhanced by their uniforms which, for some, consisted of smart pullovers and open necked shirts rather than the usual stuffy livery or suits. Indeed good design and art is very much at the heart of The Arch experience. The décor is modern, but not minimalist, and is sensitive to the historic townhouses the hotel occupies. Despite the chic interiors the importance of practicality and comfort has not been overlooked. There is also a striking collection of modern art on display and this is underscored by the range of art books available in the Library. The hotel had only been open a couple of months when I visited and all the décor and furniture was in pristine condition. The fun motif of the old London telephone exchange system is used throughout The Arch's branding.
