In the heart of ‘foie gras’ country on the sleepy banks of the Dordogne, Manoir de Bellerive is a 19th century manor house set in 10 acres of pretty wooded parkland with a Michelin-starred restaurant and a welcoming ambience.

Outside, you will discover parkland and trees and the slow winding river, perfect for summer boating and riverside picnics. Inside, everything is distinctly elegant with pretty rooms and suites overlooking the river orgarden. The ambience is one of extreme relaxation and the peaceful library is perfect for reflective moments.

Sit by the pool with the sound of the river in the background. Make the most of your stay and opt for a cookery class using regional ingredients such as foie gras, ceps mushrooms and truffles. Visit the nearby Maxange Caves with their unique crystal formations before returning for dinner in ‘Les Délices d’Hortense’ to experience the amazing degustation menu, ortry the bistro La table de Louis.
