The lobby, dining room and all rooms from the castle at the Grand Barrail Chateau Hotel and Spa have been completely refurbished.

Exquisite wine is an excellent reason to visit Saint-Emilion, another is Grand Barrail Château Hotel & Spa, a palatial 19th century château surrounded by the sunlit vineyards that produce this great appellation. Rooms and suites are housed in three additional properties beside the château, where you will find a superb spa, a heated swimming pool, a fitness room and fine dining.

The château’s pretty spires, dome and stonework balconies are enchanting, while inside, sunlight filters through delicate stained-glass windows in the dining rooms. Most of the rooms and suites have a terrace or balcony with views of the vineyards and are individually decorated to reflect the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.
