Directions
From Tela and San Pedro Sula - Take the main coastal highway south-east towards La Ceiba. Approximately 5 kilometres after crossing the Rio Perla, you will come to the village of El Pino which is surrounded by pineapple plantations. In El Pino, you will cross over the Rio Coloradito. Immediately after crossing the Rio Coloradito, look for a sign on the right saying The Lodge at Pico Bonito and a dirt road turning to the right (south). Follow this road for 2 kilometres until you reach the guardhouse and entrance to The Lodge. Approximate driving time: 75 minutes from Tela and 2 1/2 hours from San Pedro Sula.
From Tegucigalpa - Drive to Tela and follow the directions from Tela and San Pedro Sula as given above. Approximate driving time: 5 hours.
From the Town of La Ceiba - Take the main coastal highway west towards the La Ceiba International Airport. Drive past the airport and follow the directions from La Ceiba International Airport as given above. Approximate driving time: 25 minutes.
