We are a small hotel comprised of three historic townhouses, with balconies and secluded courtyards. Our luxury boutique lodging accommodations offer 33 unique, charmingly furnished guest rooms with period antiques in rich colors and luxury fabrics, Egyptian cotton bedsheets and goosedown pillows.

All Deluxe rooms have elegant high ceilings and are on the main hall opening onto the veranda overlooking Chartres Street. Bathrooms have black and white tiles. These suites have Queen or King beds. They contain a small sitting area and bathrooms have a shower as well as Jacuzzi tubs. All of these suites have working desks. The Townhouse at Soniat House Hotel (approximately 1,040 sq. feet). The ultimate privacy, with a separate entrance. The first floor has a living room with queen-sized sofa bed, a large kitchen with breakfast table, and a full bath. The luxurious second floor bedroom, with a king-sized bed and its own bath, opens onto a balcony overlooking a private courtyard. The townhouse is equipped with two telephones. Complimentary Wireless Internet access is also available throughout the hotel.

The Grand Suites are beautifully decorated with fine French Antiques. Suites feature a wrought iron lace balcony overlooking Chartres St. Voice mail and complimentary WiFi are available in every room. Size: 650 sq. ft.

Single Occupancy, queen bedded room that is perfect for the single traveler. Rooms are all off the beautiful courtyard surrounded by green foliage and the sound of running water from the fountain. in size and all room have Voice mail, AC and WiFi. Approx 250sq ft.

Soniat House has an honour bar stocked with premium liqueurs, wines and champagne (after dinner, cordials and liqueurs are available). This bar is set up at noon and remains stocked until everyone retires.

Directions

From the airport: Take I-10 East to exit 236A, Esplanade Avenue. Turn right and continue 10 blocks to Royal Street (second red light). Turn right for 4 blocks to St. Phillip Street. Drive one block to Chartres Street. Turn left for 1 1/2 blocks to Soniat House at 1133 Chartres Street.
