In detail

The 33 individually-styled rooms and suites at The Bath Priory Hotel are undeniably fabulous decorated in elegant fabrics and with period furniture. The rooms are named after flowers, some with balconies overlooking the garden and others with romantic four-poster beds. Providing a greater degree of privacy, the self-contained property houses six refurbished, spacious suites with slick double showers, all of which are named after famous crescents in Bath.

From The Bath Priory Hotel, a short stroll through nearby Victoria Park leads you into the centre of the city. A trip to Bath would not be complete without visiting the Pump Rooms and the Roman Baths. For a greater insight into Georgian Bath, the Jane Austen Museum highlights the writer’s time spent in the city while a number of the city’s famous streets and crescents are worth seeking out. The city has a large selection of independent boutiques offering a broad range of products from designer fashion to delicatessens.

Classic Room

Classic Rooms offer courtyard views and all have bathrooms with a separate shower and bath and boastluxuriously soft dressing gowns and slippers, along with bespoke designer toiletries. These rooms can be requested as a king or twin, except the split level Classic Room ‘Azalea’ which offers a double bed and is accessed by a spiral staircase. Room size 20 square metres.

Superior Room

Superior Rooms all have fantastic garden views. ‘Apple Blossom’ offers roll top bath and separate shower and ‘Peony’ has a marble bathroom. Both can be requested as a king or twin. ‘Poppy’ is a double room and has a contemporary bathroom with large double shower but does not have a bath. All rooms offer soft dressing gowns and slippers and bespoke toiletries. Room size 20 square metres.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe Rooms are spacious with views over the courtyard. All have luxury bathrooms, bespoke designer toiletries, a seating area with a coffee table and king sized bed (with ‘Bluebell’ featuring a romantic four poster bed). An optional extra bed can be added into rooms ‘Briar’, ‘Clematis’ and ‘Orchid’. Room size 30 square metres.

Premier Deluxe Room

Premier Deluxe Rooms offer amazing views of the gardens, are all very spacious, some feature private balconies whilst others offer romantic roll top baths. Each has a seating area with a coffee table, luxury bathrooms with fluffy bathrobes and slippers and bespoke designer products. We also offer two dog friendly rooms (on request). Room size 30 square metres.

Junior Suite

Our luxurious junior suites are all very spacious. The romantic four poster suite ‘Carnation’ offers glorious garden views and a spacious marble bathroom with separate bath and shower.It is the only room in the main house to offer air conditioning. The ‘Widcombe’ and 'Lansdown' Garden Spa Junior Suites, in the adjacent building, offer both garden and courtyard views, offer grand separate living rooms and are perfectly situated for added privacy. Room size 35 square metres.

Family Suite

Our Garden Spa Family Suites situated in the adjacent building offer both garden and courtyard views. Both have modern bathrooms with a separate bath and shower and each have a cosy separate living room. The ‘Camden’ Suite offers a king room and a single room, and the ‘Somerset’ Suite offers a king room and a room with bunk beds suitable for children up to the age of 12. Both of the family suites boast air conditioning. Room size 45 square metres.

Master Suite

The Garden Spa Master Suites are situated in the adjacent building and all offer garden views. They have separate living areas, bathrooms with separate bath and shower, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, DVD player, iPod Dock, telephone, hairdryer and luxuriously soft dressing gowns and slippers. ‘The Royal’ a king or twin room and double room. ‘Cavendish' offers a king bedroom and boasts air conditioning. Room size 45 square metres.

Privately owned by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, the staff at this country house hotel are genuinely welcoming and the atmosphere emanates warmth and total comfort - making you feel as though you are a guest in a private house rather than a hotel. The rooms are all individually designed and beautifully decorated. Guests can take the opportunity to indulge at our award-winning restaurant which serves superb modern European cuisine under the direction of Michelin-starred Executive Chef, Sam Moody. The Garden Spa is a dreamy space with french doors that open directly onto the immaculate gardens and flood the spa with sunlight. The indoor and outdoor heated pools are beautiful and intimate; a poolside sauna, elliptical steam pod and shower complete the picture. The Fitness Suite overlooks the gardens and is well equipped with the full range of cardiovascular machines and free weights. Beauty treatments here are simply blissful and a spot of pampering should surely be a prerequisite for any stay. The four treatment suites provide a tranquil and calm environment in which you can relax.

Bath Spa Station is approximately one and a half miles from the hotel, there are hourly trains from London.

By car

DIRECTIONS FROM M4 Take the following route after the leaving the M4 at junction 18 for Bath. Proceed along the A46 for (Bath) until reaching a roundabout, take the third exit (A420 Bristol). After approximately 1 mile, just as the road starts to go downhill take the first left turn, signed "Bath Park & Ride". This is an undulating country road, carry on along this road until you reach a T-junction. At this junction, turn left, following this road until it reaches Bath Racecourse. Just after the Blathwayt Inn on your right, take the next turning right - into Lansdown Lane (marked Weston). Proceed down this hill to a roundabout; take the first exit into Weston High Street. Continue through the High Street, go over the zebra crossing in the centre of the village, you will see the "Crown & Anchor" pub on your right. Carry on, passing the 2nd Lansdown of Bath garage on your left. Take the 2nd left into Weston Lane and continue along to the end of the road. Go straight ahead into Weston Road; The Bath Priory Hotel is situated immediately on the right, next door to Weston Chiropractic Clinic.
