Enter the lobby of The Excelsior Hotel to an interesting blend of turn-of-the-century architecture and contemporary styling. A striking light fitting of large red leaves suspends from the ceiling contrasting with ultra-modern white furnishings and a magnificent marble staircase. The sophisticated use of colour in the rooms complements the chic Italian furniture and original works of art.

After a hearty breakfast in The Excelsior Hotel’s breakfast room, wander down towards the seafront to the picturesque Aristotelous Square and the boutiques in Tsimiski Street. Head to Egnatias Street to see the third century BC Arch of Galerius and the Rotunda, and then visit the famous Ayia Sofia Byzantine church.
