Overlooking Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway

Just five minutes from the beach at Fort Lauderdale and nestled on the intra-coastal waterway, The Pillars Hotel & Club is a sophisticated haven set in a stunning plantation-style house. With an elegant new dining room with waterway views, a broad selection of spacious rooms and suites, and an inviting outdoor pool, this is a truly captivating place.

The rooms and suites at The Pillars Hotel are an eclectic mix of cane, polished wooden floors, classic armchairs, rich fabrics and interesting artefacts. Wander outside and sit by the pool on a sun lounger surrounded by palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze and colourful tropical flowers. Then wander over to the dock and watch the yachts cruising past.

For some extra privacy, you can choose to stay in one of six luxurious suites in the recently refurbished Birch House annex. This exclusive grand house (with the beach within reach) is an ideal setting for family get-togethers and small group getaways.

Spend the day out on the water, dropping anchor in Lake Sylvia to relax with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Then return to The Pillars Hotel for dinner in the hotel’s private dining club, The Secret Garden.

Enjoy your stay!

Small boutique hotel in great location serving outstanding dinners

The hotel is small enough that front desk service and interaction is very personal, as well as first class. The most special feature was dinner on the waterside of the intracoastal - sensational food.

Excellent Boutique Hotel

An idyllic hotel, only a stones throw away from the beach and all the bars and restaurants of Fort Lauderdale Beach, yet small and quiet with excellent relaxing pool area with friendly staff.

It's very expensive, expect very fabulous!

We thought the size of the hotel was cozy and intimate. Meeting other guests was a highlight and pleasure. Yes the staff was excellent, but that's the standard you get at the Pillars. The setting was private and relaxing , but if you wanted to walk to beach your just 5 min away. Pillars has a private Read more[SPLIT]Read lessdinning club on property. The food is very good and the setting is worth the price of admission, again it's what you would expect and delivered when your taste standards are high. Now for the room, Italian beading with extra large pillows accompanied by Milton Brown toiletries, the only way to go! Well done Pillars Hotel! We will be back to be spoiled.

Dining on the dock is wonderful

Very friendly staff. Having breakfast and/or dinner on the dock alongside the inland waterway was very special.

Hidden jem Fort Lauderdale

I am so glad I found this hotel because it was a wonderful place to stay. Perfect location in for lauderdale. The facility is clean and right on the inter coastal. Perfect place to get away from it all and so quiet. We enjoyed breakfast there; we sat by the water. It was very nice. We enjoyed the Read more[SPLIT]Read lesspool which was so clean. Another great stay

This really is the perfect place to spend some time in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is on the waterway - so the water taxi can pick you up directly from the property. Food was excellent - as was the overall level of service. We had a pool side room on the ground floor - peaceful and well-appointed.Read more[SPLIT]Read less

An oasis of calm but near the Fort Lauderdale beach

Well appointed and quiet room close to the pool. Beautiful view of the intercoastal waterway and just steps to the Ft Lauderdale ocean beach. Very personable staff.

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a perfectly located oasis on the waterways and walk to the beach, quiet with fabulous food and wine.

Breakfast on the dock at the bottom of the garden overlooking the waterways with occasional super yacht passing by was perfect.
