Villa d'Amelia

A 19th century villa set in the gastronomic Langhe region with astounding views of the Monviso Alps. Villa d’Amelia is set amidst parkland and hazel groves just 10 minutes from Alba, home of the legendary white truffle and Barolo red wine.
Set around a courtyard, this relaxing retreat provides panoramic views of the hillside vineyards of Barolo with classically furnished rooms and elegant modern touches. Visit the recently restored chapel with its impressive artworks and frescoes, now turned into a wine cellar.
Swim in the pool and then take a Finnish sauna. Wander into Alba and visit the food boutiques in Via Vittorio Emanuele. Visit in the autumn and you can enjoy the Truffle Fair as well. The village of Barolo is nearby where you will find streets dotted with wine merchants and tasting cellars.
