From Rome - Take the A1 motorway towards Florence.. From Florence - Take the A1 motorway towards Rome .. Leave the A1 motorway at the Valdichiana exit, then follow the sign towards Perugia. . Take the motorway direction Perugia and after about 12 km go out at the SECOND exit for Cortona. Follow the sign towards Montepulciano and after 6 km turn left to Petrignano. . Pass the small village of Petrignano and find the entrance of the Relais on your left ( a small road with big flower pots).
