Terms and Conditions - Lowest Rate Guaranteed

Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ guarantees that slh.com will have the lowest room rate for any of our hotels. For a claim to be valid under this Lowest Rate Guaranteed programme, it must satisfy all the terms and conditions below and be submitted in compliance with the claims processing procedures listed. Additionally Small Luxury Hotels of the World general terms and conditions shall apply.

• You must have a confirmed reservation made on www.slh.com.
• You must find a lower publicly available rate for the same accommodation within 24 hours of making your slh.com booking. To be considered the same accommodation, the rate must be available at the same hotel, in the same room type, for the same number of guests, on the same dates, same duration, same cancellation policies and same terms/conditions. The Lowest Rate Guarantee is available only for exact matches.
• To make the claim you will need to submit our Claim Form and we will assess it within 3 working days. The claim must be received within 24 hours of the original booking and at least 3 working days (Monday to Friday) before your arrival at the hotel.
• The same accommodation must be advertised and available to the general public for purchase at the time your claim is made. Once we verify the eligibility and availability of the lower rate, we will refund the difference. SLH will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price that cannot be independently confirmed by SLH head office staff. Nor will SLH verify any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made in bad faith or fraudulently.
• The lower rate must be in the same currency (and without reference to currency converters).
• For a multiple night stay, the Lowest Rate Guaranteed programme will compare the total room cost of the stay as booked at the slh.com rate, with the total room cost of the stay booked at a competing rate. This will be treated as one claim for one stay.

OFFER DOES NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Websites selling "secret" hotels such as hotwire.com, known as 'opaque' sites, where the specific hotel is not known until the booking is made.
• Reservations made within 3 working days (Monday to Friday) of arrival.
• ID-required negotiated corporate rates; rates offered on membership programme websites; rewards programme; consolidator or interline prices; prices obtained via auction or similar process; or prices available only by using a promotion not offered to the general public.
• Packaged rates - our guarantee does not apply to rates sold as part of a travel package including, but not limited to accommodation plus airfare and/or car hire and/or cruise

Small Luxury Hotels of the World reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue or modify the Lowest Rate Guaranteed programme, or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability. The terms that are in effect at the time of reservation will determine your eligibility.
