Dwór Oliwski is within walking distance of the centre of Gdansk, yet located in the beautiful woods of The Tricity's Landscape Park. The old town of Gdansk, Dluga, has been carefully restored and is once again lined with coloured burgher houses wearing elaborate frescoes. Neptune Fountain signals the beginning of the waterfront area where the Maritime Museum's greatest exhibit is the giant medieval crane that was once the largest piece of shipping equipment in the world. Must see sights include St Mary's - the world's largest brick church, holding over 25,000 people. Below St Mary's is Gdansk's pretty Ulica Mariacka, where café terraces and amber shops nestle among the cobble streets.
