Prominence Once Again for Small Luxury Hotels of the World In Travel + Leisure 500 "The World's Best Hotels"
A significant number of properties within the Small Luxury Hotels of the World brand have once again been recognised by Travel + Leisure in their latest '500 World’s Best Hotels' listing.
The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur in India topped the bill, receiving the highest accolade as ‘The World’s Best Hotel’. Part of the brand of Small Luxury Hotels of the World since 2001, The Oberoi Udaivilas gained an incredible overall score of 94.36. The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra and The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur were placed a respectable 10th and 11th, respectively. As such, three Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties have received top honours in being ranked amongst the 11 best hotels in the world.
In addition, a further 22 hotels in the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection were acknowledged in the Travel + Leisure 500 listing, including Relais Christine in Paris and Hotel Andra in the USA, which appeared on the list for the first time.

The Top 500 list for 2008 has been culled from the World's Best Hotels survey which was voted for by Travel + Leisure readers in 2007.
