Le Prieuré, a charming manor house dating from the 12th and 16th centuries, looks out over the beautiful River Loire and its islands. Gleaming white, the hotel has a stately presence with its vast chimneys and imposing towers as it stands proudly within the 62-acre woodland park that extends down to the river.

The interiors have a spacious grandeur with a magnificent spiral staircase, impressive carved fireplaces, canopied beds and antique furniture. Creative cuisine is served in the finest culinary tradition of Anjou. The area is famous for its mushrooms that come from the nearby Tufa caves; the salmon, perch and eel from the river; and the excellent local wines.
