Anantara Resort Golden Triangle
Summary
There is more than a hint of adventure in the air at Anantara Resort Golden Triangle where trekking through tropical jungles astride an elephant is an everyday occurrence. Overlooking the winding Mekong River surrounded by 160 acres of bamboo forest, this elegant resort provides a relaxing spa, glorious views and an elephant camp.
From the sofa on your balcony, the view of the Laos and Myanmar hills is truly breathtaking. Inside, you are cocooned in a swathe of silks and complete comfort, while regional works of art, beautiful teak and terrazzo floors add a rustic, distinctly Thai style.

We travelled to Northern Thailand in March and stayed at the Anantara. The staff were just fantastic, so friendly and genuinely nice. The hotel is located in a remote area where they have an elephant camp. It is very peaceful, the food was excellent.
